The Yankee Hill 285C2 Phantom Flash Hider is an aggressive-toothed 5.56x45mm NATO compensator/flash hider purpose-built for AR-platform carbines and rifles. Machined from steel with a durable black finish, this compact muzzle device threads on at 1/2×28 and directs gas and concussion forward and to the sides so the shooter can keep a clean sight picture.
The popular Phantom 5C2 design uses a 5-port layout with no downward-facing port, keeping the muzzle flat and helping to eliminate the dust signature that often gives away a shooter’s position when shooting prone or from a supported rest. The aggressive teeth at the front end give this version a more distinctive, tactical profile over the standard smooth-end Phantom configuration.
