Description
The Weaver Mounts Top Mount Base 14 is a 1-piece scope base machined from durable aluminum and finished in gloss black. Purpose-built as a rear base for the Savage 99, 1895, and 1899 lever-action rifles, it provides a rock-solid mounting platform for optics on these classic Savage platforms.
Weaver machines this base to tight tolerances for a custom fit on the receiver, giving rings maximum strength to hold tight. The classic Weaver cross-lock design is compatible with a wide variety of Weaver-style rings, making it a straightforward solution for mounting a scope or red dot on a Savage lever gun. Mounting hardware is included, and the base installs directly to the rifle’s receiver. Rings are sold separately.
