The Weaver Mounts 48503 Top Mount Base is a 1-piece Weaver-style scope base machined from aluminum and finished in matte black. Part of the 47M series, this top mount base is built to tight tolerances for a custom fit on the receiver of compatible rifles.
Designed specifically for the Marlin MR7, Winchester 70, and Browning A-Bolt long action rifles, the base attaches directly to the receiver and provides a secure mounting platform for Weaver-style scope rings (rings sold separately). The square-cut notch design helps the base hold its position under recoil, keeping your rings locked in and your zero consistent.
Lightweight, low-profile, and purpose-built for long-action bolt guns, this Weaver base is a straightforward solution for mounting your optic on a classic hunting rifle. Mounting screws are included. Rings are not included.
