The Weaver Mounts 48471 is a 2-piece top mount base pair designed to provide a solid, reliable mounting platform for optics on Marlin 336 lever-action rifles. Precision machined from lightweight, rugged aluminum, these bases are built to handle heavy recoil while keeping added weight to a minimum.
Finished in a non-reflective matte black, each base installs directly to the rifle’s receiver using the included screws. The pair accepts all Weaver top mount cross lock rings, giving shooters a wide range of ring height and style options for their preferred scope or red dot. The Weaver cross lock design ensures a tight, secure fit that holds zero shot after shot.
The 48471 base pair fits the Marlin 336 family of lever-action rifles, as well as the related Marlin 30AS, 444, 45, 1893, 1894, and 1895 models. This listing is for the base set only; rings are sold separately. Recommended torque for the 6-48 mounting screws is 15 in lbs.
