Description
The Weaver Top Mount Base 402M is a one-piece scope base machined from aluminum with a matte black finish, purpose-built to provide a rock-solid mounting platform for optics on Marlin 455 and Marlin MR7 rifles. Part of the classic 402M series, this base is machined to tight tolerances for a custom fit to the rifle’s receiver, giving scope rings the maximum strength and repeatable alignment they need to hold zero.
Designed for direct installation on the receiver, this Weaver mount offers a clean, low-profile foundation for scope rings (rings sold separately). The lightweight aluminum construction keeps added weight to a minimum while the matte black finish reduces glare and blends with most factory rifle finishes. Mounting screws are included for straightforward installation right out of the box.
