The Weaver Mounts 48071 Top Mount Base 71 is a 1-piece scope base precision-machined from aluminum with a black finish, purpose-built to deliver a rock-solid mounting platform for Weaver-pattern rings on select Browning rifles and Sako Winter Hunter models.
Manufactured to tight tolerances for a custom fit, this top mount base provides maximum strength so rings hold zero shot after shot. The cross-lock design ensures positive engagement with the rifle receiver, and because the base mounts directly to the receiver, the shooter is free to select the ring height and style that best match their chosen optic and shooting application. Rings are not included.
Compatible with Weaver-style rings, this single-piece aluminum base can be used as either a front or rear base on compatible firearms, making it a versatile solution for mounting scopes and other optics.
