Description
The TruGlo TG8030B is an entry-level traditional red dot sight built around a wide 30mm objective and a single 5 MOA red dot reticle. Designed for fast, both-eyes-open target acquisition, it is an affordable aiming solution for recreational shooting, plinking, and hunting applications.
The optic is housed in a CNC-machined aluminum tube with a matte black finish, and is rated fog proof, water resistant, and shock resistant for dependable field performance. Multi-coated tempered glass lenses produce a clear sight picture, while unlimited eye relief and a generous 68 ft field of view at 100 yds let the shooter mount the sight almost anywhere on the firearm and still pick up the reticle quickly.
A common CR2032 lithium battery powers the reticle through rheostat-controlled brightness settings, giving the shooter easy adjustment to match ambient light. Click windage and elevation adjustments are calibrated at 1 MOA per click, and the integrated Weaver-style mounting system clamps directly to a standard Weaver or Picatinny base with no additional rings required.
