The Traditions A1264 Cannon Fuse is a 15-foot length of water-resistant ignition fuse designed for firing Traditions cannons and other similar black powder cannons. It provides a reliable, timed ignition of the propellant charge for any cannon-firing application.
The fuse burns at a rate of 30 seconds per foot (plus or minus 5 seconds), so operators dial in the desired delay between lighting and main discharge simply by cutting the fuse to the length they need. The construction is completely water resistant, maintaining a consistent burn rate through damp weather, overnight storage, or rough field conditions. It is sold as a single 15-foot length, ready to cut and use.
