The Taylor’s & Company 1873 Cattle Brand Pietta is a New traditional single-action revolver chambered in 45 Colt (Long Colt), modeled on the iconic six-shooters of the American Old West. Part of Taylor’s & Company’s Pietta-built Cattle Brand line, this 1873-pattern revolver delivers classic cowboy-action styling in a ready-to-shoot package for sport shooting, plinking, and display.
The revolver carries a 4.75-inch blued round barrel and a matching blued six-shot cylinder. The steel frame wears a color case hardened finish, while the grip is molded in imitation stag Navy for a period-correct Western look. An exposed hammer and blade front / notched rear sights keep the controls and sight picture faithful to the original 1873 pattern.
Weighing 2.45 lbs unloaded with an overall length of 10.35″, this six-shooter balances naturally in the hand and is right at home on the Cowboy Action Shooting range, the trail, or in the gun cabinet. A reliable, traditionally-styled 45 LC SAO revolver for anyone building a working Old West lineup.
