Chambered for both .357 Magnum and .38 Special, it carries a 20″ blued octagonal barrel, a color case hardened forged steel receiver, and a classic checkered walnut pistol grip stock with matching forend for a period-correct silhouette ready for the range, Cowboy Action Shooting, or a day in the deer woods.
A traditional full-length tube magazine under the barrel feeds the action for a 10+1 total capacity, loaded one or two rounds at a time through the classic side loading gate. The action is a smooth lever with a color case hardened finish on the steel receiver, paired with blued barrel and small parts, a blade front sight, and a buckhorn rear sight for the traditional sight picture. The fixed pistol grip buttstock with its checkered panels is configured for right-hand shooters.
At 39″ overall and weighing 7.90 lbs, this 1873 balances like the original, with enough heft to keep magnum recoil comfortable on the shoulder.
