Description
The Taurus Raging Hunter in .454 Casull is a purpose-built big-bore hunting revolver. This 5-shot double-action revolver pairs an extended 8.37-inch barrel with Taurus’s angular barrel profile to a large steel frame, delivering the sight radius and balance of a handgun suited to short- to medium-range hunting.
Built around a single-action/double-action (SA/DA) action with an exposed hammer, the Raging Hunter carries a matte black oxide finish on the steel frame and cylinder, paired with a black anodized barrel. Sights are a fixed front blade with an adjustable rear; overall length is 15 inches and the revolver weighs approximately 57 ounces. An integrated scope mount allows the shooter to mount optics, and the black rubber grips with an integrated red cushion insert help manage felt recoil under heavy .454 Casull loads.
