Description
The Taurus Raging Hunter is a purpose-built .44 Remington Magnum hunting revolver designed for short- to medium-range big-game work. Chambered in 44 Rem Mag, this six-shot double-action / single-action revolver pairs a 6.75″ barrel with a striking two-tone finish: matte black oxide on the cylinder and a black anodized barrel, paired with a matte stainless steel frame.
Built on the Raging Hunter large frame, the revolver is machined from stainless steel and carries an exposed hammer for traditional single-action shooting. The black rubber grips feature an integrated red cushion insert designed to tame the recoil of full-power magnum loads, and the fixed front / adjustable rear sights provide a clean sight picture in the field.
At an overall length of 12.60″ and approximately 53 oz, the Raging Hunter balances fast handling with the mass needed to make magnum-level recoil manageable.
