The Taurus 942 Ultra-Lite is a small-frame, eight-shot revolver chambered in .22 LR, purpose-built for concealed carry, recreational plinking, and low-cost skills training. Lightweight, low-recoil, and exceptionally reliable, it carries eight rounds of rimfire in a true pocket-sized package that disappears in a waistband or jacket pocket.
The heart of the 942 Ultra-Lite is its stainless-anodized aluminum frame, which trims overall weight to just 17.80 oz. A 2″ barrel and matching eight-shot cylinder wear a matte stainless finish that shrugs off daily carry wear, and the revolver’s overall length is just 6.60″ – making it one of the most compact .22 LR revolvers available.
Operation runs through a proven double-action/single-action trigger with an exposed hammer, giving shooters the choice of a long, smooth double-action pull for the first shot or a crisp single-action press for precise follow-ups. A fixed ramp front pairs with an adjustable rear sight for quick acquisition and easy zeroing. Black polymer finger-grooved grips deliver a secure, ergonomic hold without adding bulk to the small frame.
