The Strike Industries SAILCOMP Sail Comp is a compact, high-efficiency single-chamber muzzle brake for AR-platform rifles chambered in .223 Remington / 5.56x45mm NATO. The brake earns its name from its signature sail-shaped baffle, which redirects muzzle gases outward and upward to reduce felt recoil and hold the muzzle flat for faster, more accurate follow-up shots. The compact 1.57″ overall length keeps the device tucked tight to the handguard for a clean sight picture and snag-free handling.
Constructed from durable steel and finished in low-glare black, the Sail Comp is built to take the heat and pressure of duty, training, and recreational shooting. It installs on any barrel threaded 1/2″-28 tpi – the standard thread pitch for 5.56 NATO AR-15 barrels – with no permanent modification, making it a simple upgrade for a finished rifle or a new build.
