The Streamlight TLR-3 is an ultra-lightweight, compact weapon-mounted tactical light built for subcompact and compact pistols. At its core is Streamlight’s C4 LED, driving 170 lumens of bright white illumination with a 3,300 candela peak beam intensity and a focused, far-reaching beam shaped by a textured parabolic reflector.
The TLR-3’s matte black polymer housing measures just 2.71″ overall, with a 1.51″ head diameter and a 1.18″ body diameter. With the battery installed the light weighs only 2.32 oz, so it adds minimal bulk or weight to a carry pistol. An ambidextrous toggle switch provides both momentary and steady on/off activation, giving left- and right-handed shooters the same control layout.
Streamlight’s rail grip clamp system lets the TLR-3 snap onto a handgun’s accessory rail and lock down securely with one hand – no tools required and the light stays put under recoil. It is rated IPX7 waterproof to one meter for 30 minutes and is powered by a single CR2 lithium battery (included) for up to 1.5 continuous hours of runtime.
