Description
The Steyr Arms HS .50-M1 is a purpose-built .50 BMG bolt-action rifle engineered for extreme long-range shooting. The take-down design allows the action to be broken down for transport and storage, while the cold-hammer-forged, free-floating 24″ fluted and threaded barrel with a 1:15 twist is built to stabilize the heaviest .50 caliber projectiles.
Built around a fully adjustable chassis finished in black, the HS .50-M1 features a fixed stock with an adjustable cheek rest for a tailored fit at the bench or in the prone position. An integrated adjustable bipod and monopod are built directly into the chassis for a stable shooting platform right out of the box, and a single-piece muzzle brake helps tame the massive .50 BMG recoil. The fluted barrel is fed by an included detachable 4+1-round box magazine.
A Picatinny optics mount tops the steel receiver, and the side-loading bolt is governed by a two-position safety. The rifle is optic ready with no iron sights installed, weighs in at 28.70 lbs, and carries an overall length of 48″. Right-hand configuration, Austrian manufacture, and built on Steyr’s signature take-down platform.
