The Spyderco Dragonfly 2 Lightweight packs serious cutting performance into a compact everyday carry package. Part of Spyderco’s Lightweight series, this folding knife pairs a 2.28″ Wharncliffe blade with a slim, textured FRN handle to deliver precision cutting in a 1.20 oz package that rides easily in the pocket.
The blade is precision ground from VG-10 stainless steel in a full-flat profile for excellent edge geometry and efficient slicing. The Wharncliffe shape produces a straight edge ideal for controlled detail cuts and utility work where a clean tip-to-handle cutting line is preferred. A plain edge keeps the cutting surface uninterrupted, and the round thumb slot provides fast, ambidextrous one-handed opening.
The handle is molded from FRN in black and finished with Spyderco’s Bi-Directional Texturing pattern, which creates a high-traction grip surface in every orientation. A robust back lock mechanism secures the blade in the open position, and the reversible pocket clip supports tip-up carry on either side of the handle for left- or right-handed users.
