The Springfield Armory XDM5003C X-Tension Backstrap Sleeve is a factory magazine sleeve built to let a full-size XD-M magazine seat correctly in an XD-M Compact pistol frame chambered in 9mm Luger or .40 S&W.
Molded as a single piece of durable, lightweight black polymer, this sleeve fits over the rear of a full-size XD-M magazine so a 3.8″ XD-M Compact accepts those full-size magazines. It is the factory solution for shooters who want to run their XD-M full-size magazines through their Compact pistol.
This 3 backstrap sleeve variant is matched to the 3 interchangeable backstrap insert, giving XD-M Compact shooters with that backstrap configuration a properly fitting magazine when running full-size XD-M magazines. The matte black finish blends cleanly with the factory XD-M grip texture for a clean, factory-look fit and finish.
