The Springfield Armory Model 2020 WayPoint is a purpose-built precision bolt-action rifle chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor, engineered for hunters and long-range shooters who demand lightweight handling and match-grade accuracy. This Ridgeline variant pairs a fluted carbon fiber barrel with a custom-painted carbon fiber stock for a rifle that is equally at home in the backcountry or on the bench.
At the core of this Model 2020 WayPoint is a 22″ fluted carbon fiber barrel with a 1:8″ twist, finished in Desert Verde Cerakote and threaded for Springfield’s SA Radial Muzzle Brake. The stainless steel receiver carries the same Desert Verde Cerakote finish and a two-position safety for confident operation in any conditions.
The bolt action feeds from a detachable magazine for a 5+1 round capacity and is controlled by a smooth, user-adjustable TriggerTech trigger tunable from 2.5 to 5 pounds. The rifle ships without iron sights, leaving the receiver clear and ready for your preferred scope or optic.
The hybrid profile carbon fiber stock is custom-painted in Ridgeline Camo and features an M-LOK compatible forend for bipod or accessory mounting. Configured for right-hand shooters, the WayPoint measures 43.50″ overall and weighs just 7.30 lbs, light enough to carry all day while delivering Springfield’s .75 MOA accuracy guarantee.
