Description
The Speer Ammo Gold Dot Personal Protection reloading projectiles bring Speer’s bonded bullet technology to handloaders assembling personal-protection ammunition. These .38 Cal bullets measure .357″ in diameter and are engineered specifically for excellent expansion at the lower velocities typical of short-barrel handguns, making them an ideal projectile for handloaders building self-defense rounds in .38 Special and .357 Magnum.
Each projectile weighs 110 gr and features the signature Gold Dot Hollow Point design: a copper jacket over a lead core, joined using Speer’s UNICOR bonding process to virtually eliminate jacket-core separation on impact. The bullet is cannelured and measures 0.525″ overall, with a ballistic coefficient of 0.117 and a sectional density of 0.123.
Projectiles ship 100 per box with 5 boxes per case (500 projectiles total), giving handloaders a steady supply for assembling snub-nose revolver and compact carry loads.
