Description
The Speer Grand Slam is a classic soft point hunting bullet from Speer’s rifle bullet line, designed to deliver controlled expansion and deep penetration on large game. This .338 caliber bullet weighs 250 grains and is built around a lead core enclosed in a precision-drawn copper jacket with internal flutes that open on impact for consistent expansion while retaining most of the bullet’s weight.
Measuring 1.355 inches in length with a .338 inch diameter, a .431 ballistic coefficient, and a .313 sectional density, the Grand Slam is engineered for serious big-game hunting. A cannelure provides a secure crimp groove for handloading, and the copper-jacketed lead core construction drives the bullet through heavy muscle and bone with authority.
Sold as 50 bullets per box, with 5 boxes per case (250 bullets total), these soft points are a top choice for handloaders building large game rifle loads in .338 caliber cartridges.
