The Sierra Tipped MatchKing (TMK) is a premium precision rifle bullet engineered for serious match shooters. Built on Sierra’s legendary MatchKing open-tip match bullet platform and finished with a streamlined polymer tip, the TMK delivers a higher ballistic coefficient, flatter trajectory, and tighter downrange groups than a conventional hollow point match design.
This bullet is sized for 30 Caliber / .308″ diameter and weighs 175 grains, yielding a sectional density of .264. The 175 grain TMK was specifically developed to allow .308 Winchester shooters to stay supersonic at 1000 yards, making it a go-to projectile for long-range competitive disciplines.
Internally the bullet pairs a lead core with a precision-drawn copper jacket and a plastic polymer tip that initiates consistent aerodynamics in flight and reliable performance on target.
