The Sierra 1515 Varminter is a 6mm (.243) 80 grain Spitzer Boat Tail Blitz reloading projectile from Sierra’s renowned BlitzKing varmint line. Purpose-built for rapid expansion on varmints and small game, the 1515 is engineered for handloaders who need devastating terminal performance at typical varmint-hunting velocities under 3600 fps.
The bullet’s Spitzer Boat Tail profile delivers a flat trajectory, strong resistance to crosswinds and vertical winds, and excellent retained energy downrange. A copper jacket wraps a lead core for reliable feeding, consistent expansion, and dependable accuracy across 6mm/.243 cartridge applications. No cannelure. Sectional density: .194.
