Sellier & Bellot SB308F is a hunting-grade .308 Winchester load built around the company’s signature Soft Point Cut-Through Edge (SPCE) projectile, designed to deliver reliable expansion and deep penetration on medium and big game.
Each cartridge drives a 180 grain semi-jacketed soft point at 2,510 fps out of the muzzle, producing 2,517 ft lbs of energy. The SPCE bullet features an exposed lead tip paired with a sharpened forward cutting edge and a locking crimp groove that holds the jacket and core together. On impact the cutting edge slices a clean entrance wound, the lead core initiates expansion, and the retained weight drives deep penetration, producing the visible wound channel and easy-to-follow blood trail that hunters depend on for clean, ethical recoveries.
The SB308F is loaded with brass cases and is intended primarily as a hunting round, well suited to medium and big game at typical woodland hunting distances.
