The Savage B17 F Compact is a bolt-action rimfire rifle chambered in 17 HMR, built on Savage’s modern B Series platform. It pairs an 18″ button-rifled barrel with a 1:9″ twist and a 10-round rotary magazine in a compact, lightweight package designed for the rimfire enthusiast.
At the heart of the action is Savage’s user-adjustable AccuTrigger, which lets the shooter dial in a clean, crisp pull without a trip to the gunsmith. A top tang safety sits within easy reach of the firing-hand thumb, while the carbon steel receiver is finished in matte black and drilled and tapped for scope bases. The B17 F Compact ships with no iron sights installed, ready for the optic of your choice.
The fixed synthetic stock is finished in matte black and features an ergonomic, target-style vertical pistol grip with a higher comb for a more natural head position behind the scope. At 5.25 lbs unloaded and an overall length of 35.50″, the B17 F Compact is light and compact enough to carry all day, with a 12.75″ length of pull that suits a wide range of shooters.
