The Savage A22 Target Thumbhole is a semi-automatic rimfire rifle chambered in 22 WMR, purpose-built for precision target shooting. Part of the A Series Target line, this full-size configuration pairs a heavy-contour barrel with a true thumbhole stock for repeatable accuracy and a steady hold over extended range sessions.
A 22″ heavy target barrel in a high-luster black finish is rifled with a 1:16″ twist to stabilize a wide range of 22 WMR bullet weights. The carbon steel receiver carries a matching high-luster black finish and is drilled and tapped for scope bases or rails. Iron sights are not included.
The straight-blowback semi-auto action cycles via a 10-round detachable box magazine for a true 10+1 capacity. Savage’s user-adjustable AccuTrigger lets you dial in a clean, crisp let-off, while a crossbolt safety provides positive engagement at the ready. One 10-round detachable magazine ships with the rifle.
The gray laminate thumbhole stock delivers a solid, ergonomic cheek weld and the rigidity benchrest and varmint shooters look for. Finished at 41.50″ overall and weighing approximately 7.08 lbs, this right-hand rifle balances well over the heavy barrel and stays steady on target. Offered here in New condition.
