The Rugged Suppressor OP002 Piston is a precision-machined suppressor accessory built to thread onto host pistol and sub-gun barrels for use with the Rugged Suppressors Obsidian series. Cut from 17-4 Stainless Steel and heat treated for long service life, it wears a durable Copper finish and a 1/2″-28 thread pitch to match common fixed-barrel hosts.
The OP002 features a non-slotted design that creates a full circumference gas seal at the barrel-to-piston interface, reducing piston blowback and helping tilting-barrel host actions cycle reliably. Recommended for fixed barrel platforms such as carbines or sub-guns, the piston is installed directly onto the host barrel threads – simply select the OP002 whose thread pitch matches your barrel.
