The Ruger Hawkeye Compact is a bolt-action hunting rifle chambered in .243 Winchester, designed as a shortened, lightweight version of the M77 Hawkeye Standard. Built for the hunter who values quick handling, it features a 16.50″ matte stainless steel barrel paired with a stainless steel receiver with integral scope mount bases.
At the heart of this rifle is Ruger’s proven non-rotating, Mauser-type extractor with a crisp LC6 trigger and a traditional three-position safety. The 1:9 RH twist stabilizes a range of .243 Win bullet weights, while the Black Fixed Laminate stock features slim ergonomics and traditional checkering for a secure grip.
The Hawkeye Compact holds 4+1 rounds and tips the scales at just 6.20 lbs, making it ideal for long days in the field. With an overall length of 35.50″, no factory iron sights, and a right-hand configuration, this rifle is ready to mount your optic of choice and head to the range or the timber.
