Description
The Real Avid AVAR15T is a folding multi-purpose tool engineered around the AR-15 platform, combining a work-grade cutting edge with the wrenches, scrapers, and punches a shooter needs to field-strip, clean, and repair an AR. Real Avid built this tool on an X-Frame folding chassis clad with black G10 grip plates for a secure hold in the shop, on the bench, or at the range.
At the working end is a 3.25″ tanto-point blade ground from 440C stainless steel with a part-serrated edge for both clean cuts and aggressive slicing. The blade deploys manually and locks open for safe use under load, and it is paired with a fitted nylon sheath for storage and carry.
Beyond the knife, the AVAR15T integrates the maintenance functions Real Avid built into this platform-specific tool family: combination needle-nose pliers, a carbide cutter, a carbide glass-breaker, a carrier scraper for clearing carbon from twelve critical bolt carrier group surfaces, and a 10-function bolt/firing pin/cam pin driver set. Whether the task is scraping fouling off the BCG, breaking down a stuck component, or opening packaging at the bench, the AVAR15T keeps the essential AR-15 service tools in one compact package.
