The PPU Metric Rifle PP6SWS load brings Prvi Partizan‘s well-regarded foreign-caliber ammunition to the classic 6.5×55 Swedish chambering. PPU’s Metric Rifle line was developed specifically for the wide variety of European military and commercial rifles that have entered the U.S. market, making it a dependable choice for shooters feeding everything from surplus Swedish Mausers to modern 6.5×55 sporting rifles.
This load features a 139 grain Soft Point Boat Tail bullet, producing a muzzle velocity of 2540 fps and muzzle energy of 1991 ft lbs. The boat-tail profile supports efficient downrange ballistics, while the soft point delivers reliable expansion on impact – well suited to target shooting and general-range use.
Each cartridge is loaded in a brass case, consistent with PPU’s standard Metric Rifle construction. Ammunition is offered in a 20-round box, with 10 boxes per case (200 rounds).
