The Pearce Grip PGXDS Grip Extension is a direct-replacement magazine base plate designed for the Springfield Armory XD-S, XD-E, and XD-S Mod.2 line of single-stack handguns. Molded from durable high-impact polymer in a low-profile Black finish, the unit installs in seconds by swapping out the factory base plate, with no tools or gunsmithing required.
Designed to fit the single-stack magazines chambered in 9mm Luger, 40 S&W, and 45 ACP, the PGXDS adds approximately 3/4″ of additional gripping surface along the bottom of the magazine so the shooter’s pinky finger can get a full, secure hold on the pistol. Because it only replaces the existing base plate, the extension does not change the capacity of the magazine – it simply gives XD-S, XD-E, and XD-S Mod.2 owners a more confident full-hand grip without adding bulk.
The polymer formulation is rated to withstand drop-test impact from -20 F to 250 F, so the extension holds up to regular carry and range use in a wide range of conditions.
