The Pachmayr Decelerator Old English is a classic field-style recoil pad designed to soften felt recoil on fine, classic style rifles and shotguns. This Medium pad measures 1″ thick with a 5.5″ height, slipping over the buttstock to deliver a noticeable reduction in kick without disturbing the traditional lines of a quality firearm.
Molded from a tough, highly abrasive and tear-resistant black rubber compound, the pad is finished with a simulated leather face for that distinctive Old English field look. The slip-on design installs easily and stays put, providing long-lasting shoulder comfort shot after shot. Pachmayr specifically recommends this pad for Upland, Skeet, and Sporting Clays shooters running classic-stocked shotguns, as well as traditional rifle applications where recoil management and a refined appearance matter equally.
