Description
The Mossberg Patriot in 350 Legend is a no-nonsense traditional hunting rifle built around a time-tested bolt-action platform with Mossberg’s signature spiral fluted bolt, an ergonomic bolt angle, and a knurled bolt handle that provides plenty of grip for quick follow-up shots. Chambered in the popular straight-wall hunting cartridge, this Patriot offers hunters a modern, moderate-recoil option in a classic configuration.
The 22″ barrel is fluted to reduce overall weight and aid heat dissipation, finished in matte blue, and capped with a recessed crown to protect the muzzle. It is paired with a stainless steel receiver that is drilled and tapped for scope mounting and given the same matte blued finish as the barrel. The barrel uses a 1:16″ twist rate, well matched to the 350 Legend’s hunting projectiles.
At the heart of the action is Mossberg’s user-adjustable LBA trigger, paired with a crossbolt safety positioned behind the bolt for intuitive, positive operation. The rifle feeds from an internal box magazine for a total 4+1 capacity and ships with no iron sights installed, leaving the platform ready for the shooter’s optic of choice.
The black fixed synthetic stock is free-floated at the fore-end for consistent accuracy across factory and handloaded ammunition. Overall length measures 42.75″ and the rifle tips the scales at a balanced 6.50 lbs, making it easy to carry on long hunts. Configured for right-handed shooters.
