The Magtech Clean Range CR40A is purpose-built 40 S&W ammunition designed for shooters who want dependable function with dramatically reduced airborne lead. The line uses a non-toxic primer and a fully encapsulated bullet to virtually eliminate the lead and heavy-metal exposure that conventional handgun ammunition produces – making it a smart pick for indoor range sessions and any environment where air quality matters.
Each round loads a 180-grain fully encapsulated bullet (FEB-Flat) seated in a clean brass case. Muzzle velocity comes in at 1024 fps delivering 392 ft lbs of muzzle energy – solid, repeatable numbers well suited to high-volume target shooting. The flat-nose profile feeds smoothly, and the encapsulated jacket seals the bullet base so powder gases stay where they belong at the muzzle instead of going airborne behind the shooter.
