Description
The Magpul Industries ZHUKOV-U Handguard is a short-profile, M-LOK-compatible forend purpose-built for AK-47/AKM/AK-74 pattern rifles. Cut 1.5″ shorter than the original Zhukov Hand Guard, the ZHUKOV-U is optimized for shorter barreled rifles, AK-pattern pistols, and SBRs running standard-length gas systems, while still providing a full mounting surface for accessories.
Construction pairs a tough polymer exterior with a full-length, hard-anodized aluminum chassis that clamps directly to the barrel. This design delivers a flex-free mounting platform, excellent heat shielding, and a rigid foundation for accessories, with an overall weight of approximately 0.95 lbs.
Integrated M-LOK slots along the sides and bottom accept lights, lasers, grips, and other M-LOK-compatible accessories, and the handguard fits both stamped and milled AK receivers with barrel diameters between 16.75mm and 18.25mm. Finished in black and measuring 10.20″ overall, the ZHUKOV-U installs onto most AK-pattern firearms without modification.
