The Leupold 55724 Standard Base is a rugged 1-piece scope base engineered to mount a riflescope directly to the round receiver of Savage 10 and 16 series rifles. Forged and machined from solid steel and finished in non-reflective matte black, this one-piece base provides a rigid, repeatable mounting platform that holds zero under hard recoil and keeps the optic-to-bore relationship locked in shot after shot.
Specifically built for Savage 10/110 right-hand short-action rifles with a round receiver, the 55724 drops directly onto the factory receiver holes and mates with Leupold STD rings (sold separately) to clamp your optic securely in place. The single-piece construction eliminates any alignment concerns between separate front and rear bases and gives a clean, low-profile look on top of the action. Leupold recommends a base/receiver screw torque of 22 in-lbs during installation for proper clamping force.
This base is intended for standard hunting calibers under .300 Win. Mag. on right-hand short-action Savage rifles. The factory weight of 2.8 oz adds minimal mass to the rifle while delivering the solid foundation your optic needs for consistent, long-range performance in the field.
Rings are not included and must be purchased separately to complete the scope mounting setup.
