The Leupold 55701 Standard Base is a 1-piece scope base machined from steel with a gloss black finish, purpose-built to mount directly to the receiver of Savage 110 rifles equipped with a right-hand round receiver in long action configuration. Designed for standard calibers less than .300 Win. Mag., this base provides the solid, repeatable mounting platform that Leupold’s Standard ring system is known for.
Leupold steel standard bases and rings are among the most versatile mounting systems available, and this single-piece design replaces the traditional front-and-rear setup with one unit that bolts directly to the rifle’s receiver. The base accepts Leupold Standard rings (sold separately) to clamp your optic securely in place, and the rugged steel construction with gloss black finish is built to withstand field use while complementing the blued or stainless appearance of most Savage 110 rifles. Rings are not included.
