The Lee Precision Factory Crimp Die is a single rifle crimp die engineered to apply a factory-style crimp to 22-250 Remington cases (also compatible with the 22-250 Ackley Improved). Built around a precision collet, the die crimps the bullet in place more firmly than any other tool, locking the projectile at a uniform seating depth for reliable feeding in repeating rifles.
Machined from steel and purpose-built for the 22-250 Rem / 22-250 Ackley Improved, this Factory Crimp Die sizes only the neck and requires no case lubrication. The integral carbide sizer post-sizes the cartridge during the crimp stroke, ensuring each round chambers reliably in the rifle. Designed as a finishing die to add to an existing 22-250 Rem reloading die set, the Lee 90818 is the final touch for handloaded ammunition intended for varmint hunting and small-game shooting.
