The Lee Precision 90023 Shell Holder is a dedicated AP Only shell holder sized as 19 for hand-priming 30 Luger, 30 Mauser, 9mm Luger, and 38 Super cases. This small but essential reloading accessory drops into the shell plate of a Lee hand primer to hold a single cartridge case square and stable so a new primer can be seated cleanly and consistently.
Machined from steel with a silver finish, the 90023 is built specifically for the Lee Auto Prime and Auto Prime II hand priming tools and is not a fit for the Lee Universal Shell Holder system used on Lee presses. Each holder grips 1 casing at a time, giving the reloader proper case-to-shell-holder fit that helps prevent crushed or misaligned primers during the priming step.
