The Lee 90853 Factory Crimp Die is a dedicated rifle reloading die purpose-built for the 38-55 Winchester cartridge. As part of Lee’s Factory Crimp Die line, this single die is designed to be added to an existing 38-55 Winchester die set (sold separately) to apply Lee’s signature factory-style crimp while simultaneously post-sizing each finished round, promoting reliable chambering and consistent neck tension round after round.
The die is machined from steel and is loaded to SAAMI specifications for the 38-55 Winchester case. It is intended as a reloading accessory for handloaders who already run a Lee 38-55 die set and want to upgrade their finished rounds with a precise, uniform crimp that mimics factory ammunition.
