The Kleen-Bore SAF-T-CLAD SAF301 is an American-made 10-piece Universal Classic Cleaning Kit that handles virtually every firearm in a typical collection. Designed for .22 to .45 caliber handguns and rifles plus all gauge shotguns, it pairs a five-section, 30-inch SAF-T-CLAD coated rod with the brushes, patch holders, and solvent needed to go from fouled to clean in a single clamshell package.
At the heart of the kit is a 30-inch SAF-T-CLAD rod assembled from five precision stainless-steel sections joined by a swivel-handle section. The proprietary SAF-T-CLAD coating provides a smooth, protective finish on each rod section, and the 8-32 thread pattern with included rod accessory adaptor accepts the full range of standard Kleen-Bore tips, jags, and brushes.
The accessory set covers both centerfire rifles/handguns and shotguns: a nylon double-ended gun brush scrubs fouling from the bore, a dedicated handgun/rifle patch holder and a separate shotgun patch holder push patches through, and a 3-oz bottle of Formula 3 Gun Conditioner rounds out the kit.
