The Kel-Tec PLR-22 Muzzle Brake Kit is a Kel-Tec-produced accessory built specifically for the Kel-Tec PLR-16 pistol. Engineered to fit the host’s 9.2″ barrel chambered in 22 LR, this purpose-built muzzle device is designed to reduce muzzle lift during semi-auto fire, helping the compact PLR-16 stay on target for faster follow-up shots.
Constructed from steel and finished in black, the PLR-22 muzzle brake uses the PLR-16’s factory 1/2″-28 tpi thread pattern for a direct fit on the 9.2″ barrel. This gives PLR-16 owners a purpose-built muzzle device designed around the host firearm, rather than relying on a universal 1/2×28 option.
Kel-Tec released this kit as a purpose-built upgrade for the PLR-16 platform, with the black finish matched to the host pistol’s factory coloring and the all-steel construction built to handle the demands of semi-auto 22 LR fire.
