Description
The Hornady Match 22 Caliber reloading bullet is a precision 52 grain Hollow Point Boat Tail projectile engineered for serious rifle competitors and handloaders. Sized to a .224 diameter, this match-grade bullet is built around a lead core enclosed in a copper jacket with a lead tip and no cannelure, preserving a clean, consistent profile from ogive to base.
The BTHP Match design features Hornady’s secant ogive profile to produce low drag and flat trajectories, paired with a boat tail whose angle and length are uniquely optimized for each caliber. The jacket is produced to virtually zero runout with near-zero wall thickness variation, delivering the concentricity and consistency that precision handloaders demand. Thicker jacket walls also help the bullet resist distortion on impact.
With a ballistic coefficient of .229 and a sectional density of .148, the 52 grain Match bullet is well-suited for target shooting, competition, and other precision rifle applications. Proudly made in the USA.
Each box contains 100 bullets.
