Description
The Hornady Frontier Lead line delivers pre-lubricated, cold-swaged cast lead pistol bullets engineered for total uniformity and balance. Each projectile is finished with Hornady’s exclusive knurling system, which holds lubricant in place to reduce leading and produce clean, consistent cuts on paper targets downrange.
This offering is the classic 38 Caliber / .357 diameter Hollow Base Wadcutter (HBWC) at 148 grains. The wadcutter face is designed to punch clean, round holes in paper, making this bullet a traditional favorite for target shooting, formal practice, and indoor range work. It is sized for reloading in 38 Special and 357 Magnum cases.
Built entirely from lead, this bullet carries a G1 ballistic coefficient of .047 and a sectional density of .165.
Bullets are sold in a 250-count box, with 6 boxes per case for high-volume reloaders. These are reloading components only – they require brass, primers, powder, and loading equipment to assemble into finished ammunition.
