The Hodgdon CFE Pistol smokeless powder (MPN PST1) is a spherical pistol propellant built around Hodgdon’s proprietary Copper Fouling Eraser (CFE) additive. Engineered for competitive shooters and serious handloaders, it is purpose-built for target and self-defense handgun loads.
The CFE additive virtually eliminates copper fouling in the bore, keeping barrels cleaner through extended range sessions and dramatically reducing cleanup time between loads. Combined with CFE Pistol’s spherical granulation, the result is smooth, consistent metering on a progressive press and uniform velocities down the barrel.
