Loaded in a 2.75″ shell with 1-1/8 oz of 1 steel shot, this non-toxic load leaves the barrel at a muzzle velocity of 1500 fps, producing increased kinetic energy downrange – approximately 9% more energy at 30 yards and 8% more at 40 yards compared to standard steel loads.
Built specifically for the waterfowl hunter, the HEVI-Steel line combines premium steel shot with a high-velocity propellant charge to maximize pattern density and energy retention at the extended ranges that modern waterfowl hunting demands. The 1 shot pellet size is well-suited for large-bodied geese and tough ducks, providing deep penetration and consistent patterns in cold-weather hunting conditions.
