The Henry Big Boy All-Weather Side Gate delivers the classic Henry lever-action in .45 Colt (Long Colt) with a corrosion-resistant hard chrome finish package purpose-built for outdoor and rough-condition use. A 20″ round hard chrome plated steel barrel is paired with a satin hard chrome steel receiver equipped with Henry’s signature side gate, allowing fast tubular magazine loading while preserving the clean lines of the original Big Boy design.
Built around a proven lever-action mechanism with a transfer bar safety, the rifle feeds from its tubular magazine for a 10+1 round capacity and is aimed with traditional iron sights – a brass bead front paired with an adjustable semi-buckhorn rear. The stained hardwood stock complements the silver/gray hard chrome metalwork, and a 1:16″ twist stabilizes standard .45 Colt loads with reliability.
Full-size proportions come in at a 37.5″ overall length with a balanced 7 lb carry weight, and the right-hand stock makes this hard-chrome-finished .45 Colt lever-action well-suited for hunting, target shooting, and traditional lever-action enthusiasts.
