Description
The GrovTec GTSW192 is a compact 3.1″ Picatinny rail purpose-built for the rear of an AR-15 stock. It clamps to the stock via the factory push button sling swivel bases, instantly adding a MIL-STD 1913 Picatinny mounting surface behind the shooter’s cheek weld for a rear back-up sight, monopod, sling attachment, or other low-profile accessory – all without permanent modification to the rifle.
The rail is precision CNC machined from solid aluminum for an excellent strength-to-weight ratio, then finished in a rugged Type III Black Hardcoat Anodized coating that resists corrosion, scratches, and field wear. Its slim 5-slot footprint gives just enough real estate for a single-optic or sling point while staying low enough to keep the stock’s overall profile unchanged.
Installation is straightforward: remove the existing push button sling swivels from the AR-15 stock, seat the GTSW192 rail over the same mounting points, and reinstall the push buttons through the rail’s integrated bases.
