Federal’s Speed-Shok line of high-performance shotshells is purpose-built for waterfowl hunting, delivering fast patterns, hard-hitting payloads, and clean, non-toxic performance in the marsh. This 12 Gauge load is built around a 3″ magnum hull driving 1-1/8 oz of 4 steel shot downrange at a muzzle velocity of 1550 fps, giving waterfowl hunters the reach and energy needed for clean kills on ducks and geese over decoys.
Speed-Shok uses Federal’s high-performance primer and fast-burning powder to push steel shot at speeds that deliver dense, consistent patterns at typical waterfowl ranges. Steel shot construction keeps this load fully compliant for use where non-toxic shot is required, and the 3″ magnum shell gives a meaningful boost in payload and velocity compared to standard 2-3/4″ field loads. The 4 shot is a versatile waterfowl pellet size well-suited to mid-sized ducks and lighter geese at typical pass-shooting and decoy distances.
