At the heart of the Hi-Bird load is a two-piece wad with Soft Cell technology that decreases perceived recoil and produces more consistent long-range patterns. Federal combines speed, hard-hitting pellets, and that specialized wad with the finest premium primers and clean-burning powders, ensuring reliable ignition and uniform velocity shot after shot. The 2.75″ hull fits virtually any modern upland shotgun chambered for standard 2-3/4″ shells, from classic side-by-sides to today’s semi-autos.
